Welcome to Durham House, a handsome Victorian property built in 1897 with spacious rooms by the sea in the unspoilt Devon fishing village of Beer. We offer comfortable rooms, free Wi-Fi and a range of breakfast choices in our beautiful breakfast room overlooking historic Fore Street.
Beer nestles on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. It is famous for its quarried stone that has been used in many historic buildings such as Exeter and St Pauls Cathedral.
Durham House is built with a Beer stone facade the property retains a wealth of character features, typical of the late Victorian era including a splendid lobby and entrance hallway with arched doorways, stained glass and Minton floor.
The beach, car park, coastal path, pubs, restaurants & cafes are all within a 3 minute walk from Durham House.
