Durham House is a handsome Victorian bed and breakfast with 7 spacious rooms by the sea in the fishing village of Beer, known as Devon's best kept secret.
We offer comfortable rooms with a fridge, hot drink making facilities, TV and Wi-Fi. Our beautiful breakfast room, overlooking historic Fore Street, is a space to enjoy our range of breakfast choices before a day exploring the Jurassic Coast.

Beer nestles on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline making it a perfect destination for a holiday or weekend break. It is famous for its quarried stone that has been used in many historic buildings such as Exeter and St. Paul's Cathedrals.

Our Bed & Breakfast is built with a Beer stone facade and retains a wealth of character features typical of the late Victorian era, including a splendid lobby, hallway with arched doorways, stained glass and Minton flooring.

For guests staying 4 nights or more we can provide parking permits for use during your holiday. We also offer permits to repeat guests staying 2 or more days.
